5月28日，美國(guó)麻薩諸塞州大學(xué)達(dá)特茅斯分校Yuegang Zuo教授應(yīng)邀來(lái)我校開(kāi)展了一場(chǎng)題為“Estrogens and Environment”，即“雌激素與環(huán)境”的學(xué)術(shù)講座。本次講座由化學(xué)與環(huán)境科學(xué)系和現(xiàn)代分離分析科學(xué)與技術(shù)省高校重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室聯(lián)合主辦。
Zuo教授首先介紹了雌激素的來(lái)源、危害，然后介紹了其課題組研究成果，包括雌激素富集與分離分析技術(shù)、雌激素的轉(zhuǎn)化降解和對(duì)魚(yú)類(lèi)、龍蝦等的危害；雌激素的生物降解和光降解途徑，并提出了一些新的分離分析方法和生物轉(zhuǎn)化及降解的研究方法?；瘜W(xué)與環(huán)境科學(xué)系環(huán)境科學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)本科生、研究生和部分教師聽(tīng)取了此次講座。
會(huì)后，Zuo教授與部分老師就科研和教學(xué)等問(wèn)題展開(kāi)了座談和交流，并在系副主任翁文教授的陪同下參觀(guān)了我系現(xiàn)代分離分析科學(xué)與技術(shù)省高校重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室。
附：Yuegang Zuo教授簡(jiǎn)介
Yuegang Zuo received his B.S degree in analytical chemistry from Wuhan University in 1982, his M.S. degree in environmental chemistry with Prof. Shuwei Pang from the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 1984, and his Ph.D. in environmental science with Prof. J. Hoigne and Prof. W. Stumm from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich in 1992. After a few years at Florida International University as a postdoctoral fellow and a research scientist, he has been working at Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth as an assistant, associate and full professor and Director of Graduate Programs since 1999. Most of his research work has focused on the chemical reactions of organic and inorganic substances and their transportation in natural environments at a fundamental level: i.e. pathways, mechanisms, and kinetics. Most of his research work has focused on field measurements and quantitative kinetic experiments to study the sources, distribution and sinks of some organic and inorganic pollutants in the atmosphere, natural water and sediments.
